Who we are
This website is operated by Majestic Ride, a chauffeur and executive private-hire service. In this notice, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Majestic Ride. If you have any questions about how your information is used, email info@majesticride.co.uk or use the details on our contact page.
What we collect
When you send a journey request or enquiry, we collect the information you choose to give us:
- your name, telephone number and email address;
- journey details such as pickup and destination, date and time, number of passengers, flight number and return journey details;
- any additional notes you include, for example luggage or accessibility requirements.
Please do not include sensitive information that is not needed to arrange your journey.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your request, confirm availability, arrange and carry out your journey, and contact you about it. Our lawful basis is to take steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and to perform that contract. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
How it is handled
Journey requests are transmitted securely over HTTPS and delivered to our booking inbox. This website is hosted on Cloudflare's network, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Our contact page also includes an optional map loaded from OpenStreetMap. When that embedded map loads, the map provider may receive technical information such as your IP address. You can use the rest of the website without the map.
How long we keep it
We keep journey and enquiry information only for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet any legal, accounting or insurance obligations, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to or restrict its use, and ask for a copy of it. To make a request, contact us. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
